Life is full.

You’re not finished.

What are you making room for?

Busy Building

What are you building?

A business. Wealth. Financial stability. A career change. An income stream. Something that gives you more choices about how you live.

Busy Creating

What are you creating?

A business. A book. A garden. A new tradition. Content. Art. A project you’ve been thinking about for years. Or simply a life that looks a little more like the one you want.

Busy Glowing

How are you glowing?

Learning what your body needs now—movement, rest, food, physical and emotional well-being, and taking care of yourself in this season of life.

Busy Loving

Who and what are you loving?

Your partner. Family. Friends. Community. Caregiving. Travel. Music. Traditions. Experiences. Yourself.

You don’t have to wait for life to get less busy.

You can love the life you already have and still want something more. You can be grateful for where you are and excited about where you're going.

Everything doesn't have to happen at once. This is a space for figuring out what matters, making room for what's next, and enjoying what's happening right now.

Because being busy isn't the goal. Being present is.

About Towanda

Hey, I’m Towanda.

I’m a wife, mom, Ya-Ya, healthcare professional, caregiver, real-estate investor—and, apparently, a content creator at 54.

My life is full. And for years, my mom has looked at everything I have going on and said, “Girl, you so busy!”

She was right.

But somewhere along the way, I realized I don't want being busy to be the story. I want to be present for this full life while still making room for the things I haven't done yet.

That's how You So Busy began.

I'm figuring it out too. I'm sharing what I'm learning, making room for what's next, and enjoying the journey along the way.

Towanda shares the story behind “You So Busy!,” inspired by something her mother says to her often, “Girl, you so busy!” She reflects on balancing family, caregiving, work, real estate investing, creativity and being present for a full life.

It started with four simple words from my mom:

“Girl, you so busy!”

This is the story behind You So Busy - and why being busy isn’t really the point.
